This story should be on the front page not the inside sports page. This is bullying at it’s worst. This whole story stinks of cover up just like the Penn State Sandusky case only on a Highschool level. I predict many job openings at the Lisbon Community Schools. Starting at the TOP.

This is a great idea! I am taking the class “Anti-Bullying” through Drake University and I was interested in the form you are going to have the students fill out. I was wondering what faculty member will receive the reports? Will it go to the building principal, superintendent or guidance counselor? This is very critical in “consistency of reporting” The anti-bullying program I am initiating at Postville Community Schools is “Have a Heart – Making Postville Schools a Safe Teaching and Learning Environment.” Thank you so much for bringing problem to everyone’s attention. Keep up the good work!

I find it very frustrating that Branstad has effectively removed teachers from this discussion. I would love to attend the town hall meeting next week – but I’m in school teaching at 2:30 in the afternoon, as are ALL teachers!
